Best Western Poway/San Diego Hotel

The room was comfortable and clean, yet

The breakfast options were somewhat basic. I appreciated the variety available, but I was hoping for more fresh offerings. The staff were attentive, and the location near Old Poway Park was a great advantage .

It is reasonably close to the major attractions in San Diego. The City of Poway offers eveything you could need without driving all over the place downton. Its location gives you the opportunity to go to the beach, a game the mountains and desert. Ask the manager about pizza she knows a small family place thats fantastic. Next trip south I'm going back.

We loved the great location for visiting San Diego's attractions, like the San Diego Zoo, which thrilled my kids. The hotel provided spacious rooms and nice amenities, keeping my large family comfortable. The pool area was a hit with the kids after our daily adventures.

In my wife's opinion, the cleanliness of the bathroom was a concern. She noticed some maintenance issues that need attention, particularly with the shower and overall cleanliness.

Solo traveler looking for comfort

The fridge was pre-cooled which was a nice surprise when I got there, and I enjoyed the make-your-own waffle station at breakfast. The lobby, pool and the room itself were so clean, really noticed that.

It wasn't exactly cheap for what I got, but still acceptable.

This hotel was fine for us. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. However, there was a sewer odor coming from the bathroom sink when water was running. Shower did not have same problem. Front desk personnel was very pleasant and accommodating.

The rooms are absolutely perfect and nicely furnished, the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The hotel offers a nice hot breakfast with topping and fruit, as for instance.

The fridge was pre-cooled upon arrival, and the shower was refreshing. Loved the make-your-own waffle station for breakfast!

This hotel looks more like a mote and it is more like a two star as opposed to a three star hotel. But over all it is a nice and clean place to stay. Nothing to brag about. The one issue I had was that the water flow at the shower is too low. They had the low flow shower head in the shower but there is a limit to how low one can go. They have gone way overboard, and the water comes with very little pressure so it takes a very long time to get wet and shower to a point that it counteracts the idea of saving water.

Diving into the nearby vibe, Coney Island Pizzeria slings killer slices that hit the spot, while Iron Pan Thai Kitchen whispers sweet nothings of bold flavors! My room, the King Room Non-Smoking, had a nice mini fridge and comfy setup to crash after a day of food adventures.

Now, the scene wasn't all bliss-found traces of neglect, like questionable stains and some dusty nooks. Had a bit of a spooky vibe with police lights flashing outside after check-in too! Just be ready for a bit of a rough patch.

The staff at the hotel were very polite and listened to any of my concern,if I had any and helped me. The breakfast bar was well stacked and constantly attended to by staff to ensure replenishment of the breakfast requirements. Excellent attitude towards customer and I would definitely book again if I visit San Diego.

The room was well-equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave,. The on-site business center was a valuable asset, allowing me to complete important tasks quickly. The staff was friendly, ensuring that I had everything I needed.

Excellent, responsive staff who kept all facilities and rooms very clean and organized.

Would prefer and entirely non-smoking hotel.

I left my phone charger in the room and contacted the hotel two days later. They had found the charger and was holding it for me. I really appreciated this service. Left items have not always been returned to me in other hotels.
